Here's what you needed to know....

This year's parade is on the 2nd August - same time same place.

Pride launches on the 26th July with a soon to be announced event that is one not to be missed. It's in the planning stages at the moment, but it's set to be something similar to what we've had in the past.

Our website has also had a refresh, which is being continuously updated with fresh content so keep checking that regularly.

	Conor Mc Varnock Just a quick word to say that the SWP are doing a meeting at 3 next Saturday (9/8/08) in Robinsons bar on the topic: "Does Northern Ireland Need A New Civil Rights Movement?". We are going to be discussing the issue of Iris Robinson and what we can do to get rid of her, Pride and Gay Rights in the North in general and extending the Abortion Act that exists in Britian to Northern Ireland. Hopefull this could be the start of a campaign for the civil and human rights of everyone in the province. While this is being instigated by my party, we want to work with anyone who is prepared to fight on these issues and I urge anyone who is interested to come along. Pride was great this year, there was a real fighting spirit and a sense that we are not putting up with this homophobia shit anymore among all the partying and revelry. Lets hope we can get something going to take the spirit of Pride 2008 forwards. Pride is for life, not just for Christmas :p.
